Terms and conditions of hire:
THIS PAGE MUST BE PRINTED AND SIGNED TO CONFIRM YOU HAVE READ
AND UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION. WE CAN NOT INSTALL THE HOT TUB FOR YOU
WITHOUT THIS AGREEMENT:
1. Your hot tub will be filled with cold water and will take upto 24 hours to reach the recommended
temperature of approximately 36ºC. If you have a combination boiler you could have it filled with
hot water for immediate use.
2. You should not need to use the control panel as it will be set up on delivery.
3. When using the hot tub, remove lid and store carefully. Enter the water with care making sure it is not too
hot (test first). NO JUMPING, BOMBING, GYMANSTICS, SHARP OBJECTS, FOAMING AGENTS OR OTHER SOLUTIONS.
4. When not using the hot tub always replace the lid to retain heat and keep it safe.
5. The hot tub will maintain the set temperature by itself, although during periods of heavy use or when
the lid is removed for an extended period there will be a fall in temperature. Staying out of the
hot tub and replacing the lid will allow the water temperature to rise back to the desired level.
6. Each person entering the hot tub will raise the water level. When the bubbles are activated
the water level again rises. Avoid overfilling.
7. Always leave the hot tub switched on in order for the filtration/ heating systems to work.
8. Please do not smoke or drink alcoholic beverages when using the hot tub.
9. Please do not use any electrical items (including mobile phones) within 5 feet of the hot tub
10. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the hot tub.
11. At 37ºC or above you should not spend more than 15 minutes in the hot tub.
12. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition please check with your doctor before using the hot tub.
13. It is essential that no sharp objects, chemical solutions (including shampoo or other foaming agents)
or foreign bodies (such as grass) are introduced to the water. The hot tub will perform better if kept clean.
14. Hartlepool Hot tub Hire will not be responsible for death or injuries to persons using the hot tub or
items/property damaged during the hire or use of the hot tub.
15. Chemicals may need to be added. We will go through this with you verbally upon delivery and will
leave you with information regarding application, handling, storage etc.
16. Hartlepool Hot tub Hire will not be responsible for any water damage that occurs.
17. The complete hire fee must be taken upon booking the hot tub. We also need to collect a £60 Damage Deposit (can be
collected upon delivery and will be returned upon safe collection of the hot tub and subject to it being in the same
condition as when delivered to the hirer). The Hirer assumes full responsibility for the hot tub during the
hire period. Any damage or theft is the responsibility of the Hirer and must be paid for. Any booking cancelled
within 1 week of the hire start date will forfeit the full deposit. If we cannot install the hot tub on
the day of delivery due to the Hirer being unavailable or we cannot gain access to the site for delivery or
collection the deposit will also be forfeit.
18. Any damage incurred due to misuse or not following the above recommendations must be paid for in full.
Undersigned Hirer understands the above information and acknowledges that the use of the hot tub is entirely
at their own risk.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL USERS ARE AWARE OF THE FILTER’S LOCATION
AND THAT THE TUB IS USED CONSIDERATELY.

Hartlepool Hot tub Hire reserve the right to employ debt recovery agents if payments have not been made within 28 days of invoice.
